Inspiration

A necessity when it comes to any art form whether its acting, dancing, painting or like me writing, We all start with an idea at the idea has to come from somewhere and that is the inspiration. Its the first step to creating something new. So where do you find it? Well for me it can be anywhere and everywhere, I know I come from Bristol which is teeming with culture and creativity, However you can be surprised where inspiration can come from or even when.

While I was studying at Uni when I started writing seriously I didn't just stay in my room or the library oh no i went everywhere; to the shopping complex, the beach, the lake heck i think one time i even went to the dockyard, I changed up my scenery which helps so much when I am writing. Sometimes when you get your inspiration you know what you want to achieve. For example before I rewrote Danger of the A word it was performed as part of my final year at university and by the end of the show I wanted people crying and you know what it happened people came out of the performance with tears in their eyes, this wont happen all the time. When I am writing the Final journey series I dont always know where I am gonna take the next scene even though I am working from the books series itself.

That's what I mean Inspiration can be anywhere and also lead you anywhere, and sometimes you dont even know but in my opinion that is the best sort of inspiration.
